Answer:

The statement that best descrcibes the Washington economy since World War II is c) a series of ups and downs in economic activity.

Explanation:

After World War II, Washington managed to shift from wartime production to peacetime one. Its economy was based on aircraft and ships production, so the state was benefitted not only during World War II, but also during the Cold War. However, Washington's economy was seriously affected during the 1970s, when the U.S. government cancelled its commercial jet project: the economy collapsed because one out of five jobs were tied to that industry. Eventually, Washington managed to reinvent itself and is now thriving on the technology industry, among others.

Shkiper50 [21]

Answer: People have a right to know about their surroundings!

Explanation:

when you are withholding information about what is happening in our world it can cause a lot of problems, making us be disconnected and being ignorant to the truth. Look at a country like North Korea for example, the citizens of the country doesn’t know what life is truly like and without that simple knowledge citizens don’t know if they are being treated unfairly or not, they dont know the difference but we know morally it isn’t right. Also when the government has restricted something even something as simple as this this enables them to feel the need that they should restrict other rights we have.

Sunny_sXe [5.5K]
The effect of foreign conflict on Americans support would be the War of 1812 where British captured Washington, D.C. and burned our White House, and also U.S. forces turn back a British attack on Baltimore. The good thing that came out of the conflict was gaining our "Star Spangled Banner" from Francis Scott Key.
