Solutions

9, 6 ,0 ,-5

Not solutions;

10, 12.5

Step-by-step explanation:

First find x

4x - 12 <= 24

4x <= 24 + 12

4x <= 36

x <= 9

Solutions

Sure!

You just plug each of the numbers into the inequality in-place of x.

For example: 10

40-12<24
28<24

Which is not true, so 10 is not a solution to the inequality. We do this for everything else as well.

-5 is a solution

0 is a solution

6 is a solution

12.5 is not a solution (we already proved that 10 wasn’t so, 12 is greater then 10, meaning it also won’t work)

9 is not a solution, 24<24 isn’t true as there isn’t a line beneath the less than sign, meaning 24 is not a solution.

Hope this helps!

Quadrilateral BCDE is inscribed in circle A as shown. divides the quadrilateral into two triangles, and . Which statement is tru
sergeinik [125]
The diagram of the question ia attached.

The correct option is : The perpendicular bisectors of triangle BCD intersect at the same point as those of triangle BED.

Because BD is common for both the triangles. When we draw perpendicular bisectors for both triangles, it wil lie in the same point.

Asymptotes of (x-4)(x+3)
blondinia [14]
Vertical asymptotes of an expression occur at the excluded values of a function. Assuming you mean that (x-4)(x-3) is the denominator, then you would find the 'solutions.'

x - 4 = 0, x = 4
x + 3 = 0, x = -3

Therefore, your vertical asymptotes occur at x = 4, -3.

Find a polynomial of least possible degree having the graph shown

f(x)=0
Vedmedyk [2.9K]

The polynomial of least possible degree having the graph as given is; f(x) = x³-8x²+x +42.

Polynomial of least possible degree

It follows from the graph that the roots of the polynomial are; -2, 3 and 7.

On this note, the factors of such polynomial are;

Hence; (x+2)(x-3)(x-7) = f(x)

 • f(x) = x³-8x²+x +42

IF YOU ANSWER THIS QUESTION correctly I WILL GIVE YOU 100 POINTS AND THE BRAINLYESTS
svlad2 [7]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculate the distance d using the distance formula

d = √ (x₂ - x₁ )² + (y₂ - y₁ )²

with (x₁, y₁ ) = D(- 4, - 3) and (x₂, y₂ ) = E(- 5, 3)

d = \sqrt{(-5+4)^2+(3+3)^2}

 = \sqrt{(-1)^2+6^2}

 = \sqrt{1+36}

 = \sqrt{37} ≈ 6.1 → A
