The correct option is A) "jack is an Orphan". Lady Bracknell is one of the characters of "The Importance of Being Earnest" by Oscar Wilde. Lady Bracknell was part of the upper-class and strongly disagrees with her dauther Gwendolen's romance with Jack since he is a supposed orphan. By the end of the novel, it is revealed that Jack is actually Lady Bracknell's newphew.

Answer:

Jack is an orphan.

Explanation:

In "The Importance of Being Earnest", Oscar Wilde shows the way or custom of Victorian England's ideas of marriages and relationships. Lady Bracknell is the example of an English woman's ideas and hilarious ways of getting a suitable husband for her daughter.

Jack Worthing is an orphan who had no idea of his parentage. But he currently,is a great gentleman, a pillar of the society and even takes care of a young girl Cicily Cardew. She is the grand-daughter of the man who had adopted Jack. Jack's best friend is Algernon Moncrieff, whose cousin is Gwendolen. Jack fell in love with her and hopes to marry her.

But when Lady Brecknell, the mother of Gwendolen heard about it, she did not quite accept it. Instead, as was common in that time, she took an 'interview' of Jack, asking about his parentage and his property. This is her way of assuring the stability of her daughter's future. She was okay with all the details she got until she heard Jack say that he had no parents. And he was adopted from a railway station found in a bag, which he still has with him. This vital point was enough for Lady Bracknell to not accept Jack as her son-in-law.

Aliun [14]
The correct answer is that the conspirators exchange short bursts of one-syllable words, which shows their urgency and fear that the assassination might not succeed. They are obviously afraid, and not talking much, because they are unsure of whether they will make it and kill Caesar in the end. This way of speaking shows their anxiety before the murder has happened, which is why it is the correct answer. The other ones don't make much sense in this case.
