According to a source, mitosis.

Mitosis and meiosis are simply cell division processes that occurs differently, they're characteristically divergent from each other according to their function and structure. Mitosis is the cell division that happens in all cells in the human body except sperm and egg cells. They produce diploid cells. Take for instance your integumentary system, layer of the skin in which your stratum basale always produces new epithelial cells (via mitosis) to take over until the outer layer, called stratum corneum (a continous replaced dead cells in this layer).

During vegetative propagation, offspring grow from parts of the parent
zhannawk [14.2K]

Ans:

Please read the explanation section.

Explanation:

Vegetative propagation does not require seeds or spores to produce offspring. In this propagation, offspring grow from a specific part of the parent plant. In different plants, vegetative propagation happens in different ways. Here are a few examples.

 • Garlic, onions, and tulip plants all reproduce using genuine bulbs/true bulbs. These short covered stems are also called scaly bulbs because it has many layers.
 • Crocuses reproduce using corms. Corms are similar to genuine bulbs. But, a corm doesn’t have as many layers as true bulbs.
 • Potato plants reproduce using tubers. These underground growths propagate new plants from stems or growing points, which is called eyes.
 • Ginger plants reproduce using rhizomes. These stems are those which grow sideways along with the soil or just below the surface.
 • Strawberry plants reproduce using stolons. Stolons are looking like branches growing along the ground.

Assuming no genetic recombination, how many genetically distinct types of gametes can a single human being make?
Georgia [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

Each chromosome represents a twin.like pairs of socks.

This is an analogous problem: you have 2 pairs of socks, one white, one black. Each of the sock is tailored to a specic foot, right or left. How many different ways can the socks be mixed and matched , one for each foot?

Here are the possibilities : left = black, right = black is one such match. Left = white, right = black is another.

so also we will have 23 chromosome pairs

Brain, spinal cord, nerves

The brain controls thought, behavior, emotion, memory, and basic life functions. The brain is also the origin of control over body movement. The spinal cord connects the peripheral nervous system (PNS) to the brain; nerve impulses reaching the spinal cord through sensory neurons are transmitted up into the brain. Nerves primarily involve control and coordination of all parts of the body.

The nervous system interacts with every other organ system. For example the hypothalamus in the brain controls the pituitary gland and tells it when to produce hormones, this shows that the nervous system interacts with the endocrine system.

Hope this helps :)
