So the radius is equal to one. If the radius equals one, the diameter is two. Assuming the cylinders are arranged in a 3 x 3 array, the length and width of the rectangle or box would be 6cm x 6cm. To find the volume of the box necessary, multiply the length of six by the width of six by the height of three. The volume would be 108 square cm.
