Answer:

“erect / among parrots”

“wildflowers entwining the plaster corset”

Explanation:

These are the two phrases that appeal to the sense of sight. In this sonnet, Rita Dove uses extensive imagery in order to convey the meaning of the words that she wants the reader to understand. One of the ways in which she does this is by employing physical descriptions that engage the sense of sight. In this case, the description of something being erect among parrots, and that of wildflowers entwining the plaster corset are elements that the reader can visualize.

In "The tell tale- heart"by Edgar Allan Poe ,what does the beating heart that the narrator heard symbolize
Sonja [21]
In "Tell Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe, the beating heart the narrator heard symbolizes, at least in my opinion, the narrator's guilt.
He killed a man, and he kept hearing his beating heart, even though it was impossible. He kept hearing it because he felt guilty because he murdered a person, and he had to come clean to the police officers in some way. If he hadn't, he would go completely mad, and his crime would go unpunished, probably.

What is fallacy of oversimplification
OverLord2011 [107]

Fallacy of oversimplification is also known as Fallacy of Reduction or "Reductive fallacy".

This fallacy is a type of faulty reasoning that involves a faulty causation, it is either about the reduction of a certain effect to a minimum of causes or reducing a complex array of causes to a single one, that cannot take account for all the effects of it or for it at all.

Example: “P1. Poverty is linked to causes of crime.

C. Therefore, if we eradicate poverty, we will eradicate crime.”
