Answer:

1. I once feared that I would fail an examination.

2. It made me feel panicky and always on the edge.

3. I feel relieved now to look back on the fear experienced.

Explanation:

In my second year of college, I wrote an examination while ill. The sickness made reading quite a challenge but I still put in the needed effort despite my condition. After writing an exam on one of the subjects that I did not really like, I actually felt that I would fail the subject.

This made me always feel panicky and I dreaded seeing my results. However, on a sunny afternoon, while returning from school, I learned that the results were out. When I logged on to my student page to check the results with my heart in my mouth, it was really a surprise to see that I passed the course with a Credit.

I feel relieved and looking back on the fear I had then, I think that I wasted my energy and emotions worrying about something I could no longer do much about.

In "A Cub Pilot" why does the author say Mississippi is "Fickle"
avanturin [10]
A, The river is constantly changing. I did this last year so I know what the answer is. Fickle means changing frequently or in my term, stubborn. In his point of view, the river has a mind of its own and changes often. Which he described as "fickle." It may be hard for Twain to pilot a steamboat, if the river is constantly changing.
