Consider the following experiemtn: True- breeding tall pea plants are cut short before being pollinated to determine if there is
an affect on the offspring. Which explanation for trait inheritance is this testing? a
blended inheritance
b
gene theory
c
an organism's experience are passed to their offspring
d
none of the above
I'd say C, because the experiment would consist of cutting the tall plant to see if the trait of now being short (which is actually not a trait, you can't change genes like that, cutting the plant does not alter DNA or genes in any way.). So that would result in controlling for the plant's experiences before pollination. (does that make sense?) Basically they're testing for the plant's ability to pass on its life experiences to its offsprings.
Amphibians usually have lungs but they can also absorb oxygen through their moist skin. Their body temperature also varies according to their surroundings. Amphibians also reproduce by external fertilisation and lag eggs.
