Answer:

A) f(t)=6-\frac{2}{3}t

B) The value of f(-3) is 8

C) The value of t is 6

Step-by-step explanation:

* Lets explain how to solve the problem

- The relation is 3r + 2t = 18

- To change the relation as a function of f(t) you must to find r in terms

  of t that means put r in one side and the others in the second side

A)

∵ 3r + 2t = 18

- Subtract 2t from both sides

∴ 3r = 18 - 2t

- Divide each side by 3

∴ r = 18/3 - 2t/3

∴ r = 6 - 2/3 t

- Change the equation to a function by using the function notation

∵ r = f(t)

∴ f(t)=6-\frac{2}{3}t

B)

- To evaluate f(-3) substitute t by -3 in f(t)

∵ f(t)=6-\frac{2}{3}t

∴ f(-3)=6-\frac{2}{3}(-3)=6-(-2)=6+2=8

∴ f(-3) = 8

* The value of f(-3) is 8

C)

- Solve f(t) = 2 means find the value of t when r = 2

∵ f(t)=6-\frac{2}{3}t

∵ f(t) = 2

∴ 2=6-\frac{2}{3}t

- Subtract 6 from both sides

∴ -4=-\frac{2}{3}t

- Multiply both sides by 3

∴ -12 = -2t

- Divide both sides by -2

∴ t = 6

* The value of t is 6

Answer and Explanation:

Given : Consider the relationship 3r+2t=18

To find :

A.  Write the relationship as a function r=f(t)

B. Evaluate f(-3)

C. Solve f(t)= 2

Solution :

A) To write the relationship as function r=f(t) we separate the r,

3r+2t=18

Subtract 2t both side,

3r=18-2t

Divide by 3 both side,

r=\frac{18-2t}{3}

The function is f(t)=\frac{18-2t}{3}

B) To evaluate f(-3) put t=-3

f(-3)=\frac{18-2(-3)}{3}

f(-3)=\frac{18+6}{3}

f(-3)=\frac{24}{3}

f(-3)=8

C) Solve for f(t)=2

\frac{18-2t}{3}=2

18-2t=6

2t=12

t=\frac{12}{2}

t=6

A woman bought some large frames for $10 each and some small frames for $5 each add a closeout sale if she bought 20 frames for
vampirchik [111]

Answer:

The quantity of large frames is 7

The quantity of small frames is 13

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The price of each large frames = $ 10

The price of each small frames = $ 5

The total number of both frames bought = 20

The price for both the frames = $ 135

Now,

Let the quantity of large frames = L

And The quantity of small frames = S

So , According to question

The total number of both frames bought = 20

Or, The quantity of large frames + the quantity of small frame = 135

Or, L + S = 20         ......A

And $ 10 L + $ 5 S = $ 135                         ................B

Or, $ 10× ( L + S ) = $ 10× 20

Or, $ 10 L + $ 10 S = $ 200

(  $ 10 L + $ 10 S ) - ( $ 10 L + $ 5 S ) = $ 200 - $ 135

Or , ( $ 10 L - $ 10 L ) + ( $ 10 S - $ 5 S ) = $ 65

Or, 0 + 5 S = 65

∴  S = \frac{65}{5}

I.e S = 13

So, The quantity of small frames = S = 13

Put the Value of S in eq A

So , L + S = 20

Or, L = 20 - S

Or, L = 20 - 13

∴   L = 7

So, The quantity of large frames = L = 7

Hence The quantity of large frames is 7

And   The quantity of small frames is 13   Answer

The measure of the exterior angle of the triangle is what degree?
RSB [31]

Answer:

92°

Step-by-step explanation:

By exterior angle theorem:

(2x - 2) \degree = x \degree + 45 \degree \\  \\ (2x - 2 - x) \degree = 45 \degree \\  \\ (x - 2) \degree = 45 \degree \\  \\ (x - 2)  = 45 \\  \\ x = 45 + 2 \\  \\ x = 47 \\  \\ (2x - 2) \degree  = (2 \times 47 - 2)\degree  \\  \\ (2x - 2) \degree  = (94 - 2)\degree   \\  \\ (2x - 2) \degree  = 92\degree   \\  \\ measure  \: of  \: the  \: exterior \:  angle \\  = 92 \degree

Answer:

 a.  y^ -1 = e^x    +2

Step-by-step explanation:

y = ln (x-2)

Exchange x and y

x = ln (y-2)

Solve for y

Raise each side with a base of e

e^ x = e^(ln(y-2)

e^x = y-2

Add 2 to each side

e^x  +2 =y

HELP ITS MY LAST QUESTION WITH STEP BY STEP
maks197457 [2]

Answer:

71

Step-by-step explanation:

This is the answer because:

1) First, add Andy's score and Janet's score in order to know how much they got in total:

  • Janet's score: 119 + 96 + 145 = 360
  • Andy's score: 127 + 74 + 88 = 289

2) In order to find how much more Janet scored, jus subtract Andy's score from Janet's score:

  • 360 - 289 = 71

Therefore, the answer is 71.

Hope this helps! :)
