<span>I'm not sure I completely understand what the question is asking for. When I look at the plates, it looks like they all fit together like a giant puzzle. They separated due to tectonic plates shifting over hundreds of years. This was based on the theory that there was a supercontinent (one giant landmass). The earth is closer to the sun during summer in the northern hemisphere than it is during winter.
Nataly_w [17]
Salutations!

The Earth is closer to the sun during summer in the Northern Hemisphere than it is during winter. True or False?

True. The Earth is closer to the sun because during the summer, the sun rays are directly hitting towards the Northern Hemisphere which makes it hot. During the winter, the sun rays are not directly hitting, thus, its cooler in winter than in the summer.

Hope I helped :D
