Examples of Conversion Factors Since 1 day = 24 hours = 1440 minutes, therefore 15 minutes (1 day/1440 minutes) = 15/1440 ~= 0.010416667 = ~0.01 days. Since 1 hour = 60 mins = 3600 seconds, therefore 7200 seconds = 120 mins = 2 hours.
