LekaFEV [45]
<h3><u><em>The United States was very reluctant to enter World War I for several reasons. One reason had to do with trade. We were trading with countries on both sides of the conflict. Before the United States joined World War II in response to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, the great battle had been raging in Europe since 1939. pentagon [3]
This was an exceptionally bold plan because all other routes to get to Asia were very time consuming, and not everybody believed that the world was a globe, but instead flat. Because of these two reasons, almost no one thought this plan would actually work. So, in conclusion, Christopher's plan was to get to Asia by going far east of Europe, and his plan was exceptionally bold because of how much time the trip would take compared to other routes, and because of the fact that many people still believed the earth was flat, not a sphere.
