The right answer is B. Oxygen & Hydrogen.

The abundance an elements is the measure of their proportion in a given environment. Their abundance can be measured by mass, molar, atomic or volume fraction.

Hydrogen is the most abundant element in organisms or throughout the Milky Way. It composes water and organic matter. Oxygen comes in third place since it is present in the majority of organic components.

Oil spills can cause substantial environmental damage. What are examples of the types of wildlife that are affected and the impa
masha68 [24]

Spilled oil can harm the habitat because of its chemical constituents being poisonous. This can affect organisms both from internal and external exposure to oil. Oil can also end the lives of some small species of fish or invertebrates, reducing birds' and mammals' ability to maintain their body temperatures.

Since most oils float, most sea creatures are heavily affected by oil. Examples include animals like sea otters and seabirds.

Most states have issued some set of regulations to follow. Environmental Protection Agency's Rescuing Wildlife<span> page gives overview information about the issue. Which statement best explains why carbon is present in so many kinds of molecules? It is abundant on earth. It can form four cov
FinnZ [79.3K]
The correct option is IT CAN FORM FOUR COVALENT BONDS.
Carbon is capable of forming four covalent bond in order to attain the octet form, this gives it the ability to combine with different elements in different ways. The ability to combine with different elements makes carbon to be abundant on the earth, because it is found in variety of different substances.

How will you determine which strain is wild type and which strain is mutant? Can you justify your answers using molecular biolog
Levart [38]

Answer: The simplest way is to determine if a strain is mutant is observing morphology, growth rate, double time, etc but it is accurate if you can prove if the strain is deficient in one aminoacid or can't metabolize lactose, etc.

Explanation: A wildtype strain functions normally, for example, can metabolize as a carbon source, glucose, lactose and other sugars, can synthesize all the aminoacids requered for protein synthesis, etc. If a strain suffers a mutation and it is inheritable, the strain become a mutant. Since several mutations can be silent ones, only those that interfere with a process, can be assesed easyly.

For example, if you have several strains and put them in a lactose medium, but some of them cannot growth means that are lactose mutants. Those strains could carry a mutation in genes that encode lactose degrading enzymes or in regulatory genes of the lac operon, etc.
