Two thousand years ago, the world was ruled by Rome, but Rome could not govern itself. It took two men to fight Rome from the chaos and turn a republic into an empire. In the first century BC, Rome was a republic. The power was in the hands of the Senate, chosen by Roman citizens. But the senators fought for power between them. The order had given way to anarchy and only power was correct. Have a wonderful day!
