The compromise that was made to make the Constitution appeal to the southern state was? 1/2 Compromise? 3/5 Compromise? The Slav
guapka [62]

Answer:

3/5 Compromise.

Explanation:

A constitution refers to a set of written laws and principles which is typically used to determine the power and authority of the government, as well as guarantee the fundamental rights of its citizens.

The Three-fifths Compromise was a compromise reached among delegates who came from the southern and northern states during the United States Constitutional Convention which held in 1787.

These delegates had disputes on how slaves are to be counted during census to determine the total population of each state which, consequently would determine the amount of taxes to be paid, as well as the number of house of representative seats. They reached a compromise by agreeing that three-fifths (three out of five) of the slave population are going to be counted to determine direct taxation and representation in the house of representatives.

Hence, the compromise that was made to make the Constitution appeal to the southern state was the Three-Fifths Compromise.

Explain how the new kings felt about culture.
Montano1993 [528]

The new kings perspective on culture was that all new and old cities to be cultural centers of Greece. People had migrated and settled around the Hellenistic kingdoms speaking and reading the same language: koine, or “the common tongue,” which was a kind of vernacular Greek. Koine became a unifying cultural force regardless where a person came from, they communicated with anyone else in the cosmopolitan Hellenistic world. The kings had a cosmopolitan view of the world with particular interests in amassing riches that resulted in hard work to cultivate commercial relationships throughout the Hellenistic world. These cities would preserve the Greek History and culture as educational, commercial and religious centers.

Which method separates modern historians from ancient Greek historians?
polet [3.4K]
The correct answer is D. Basing historical accounts on reliable evidence. Ancient Greek historians were writers more than they were historians so they would often describe things a bit differently than what really happened in order to make it sound cooler. Think of things like Homer's poems which are partly historical and partly a lie.
