5b=15 divide both side by 5

        b=3

(2) 3/8n+1=-25 multiply both side by8

    3n+8=-200 move constant to the right

    3n=-200-8 divide both sides by 3

     n=-208/3

Question 1. 5b + 2 = 17

Step 1. Subtract 2 from both sides of the equation.

5b+2-2=17-2

Step 2. Then simplify.

5b=15

Step 3. Finally divide by 5.

5b/5=15/5

Answer: b=3

Question 3.

Step 1. Subtract 9 from both sides.

9+4b-9=17-9

Step 2. And simplify.

4b=8

Step 3. Finally divide by 4.

4b/4=8/4

Answer: b=2

Hope this helps! :)

(PLEASE SOLVE ASAP!!) Suppose the entry fee to Arches national park is $25 per vehicle. Suppose the entrance fee to Bryce nation
GarryVolchara [31]

Answer:

Bryce national park has the greatest cost per vehicle.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question, we are given the following:

For Arches national park

Cost per vehicle or entry fee per vehicle at Arches national park = $25

For Bryce national park

We have:

y = 30x ........................... (1)

y = the total cost in dollars

x = the number of vehicles

To obtain the cost per vehicle at Bryce national park, we have to assume that the number of vehicles is one by setting x equal to one, that is, x = 1.

Substituting x = 1 into equation (1), we have:

y = 30 * 1 = 30

This implies that cost per vehicle at Bryce national park is $30.

Conclusion

Since the $30 cost per vehicle at Bryce national park is greater than the $25 cost per vehicle at Arches national park, it therefore implies that Bryce national park has the greatest cost per vehicle.

Given the Arithmetic sequence A1,A2,A3,A4 28, 33, 38, 43 What is the value of A11?
harkovskaia [24]
28,33,38,43

the common difference can be found by subtracting the first term from the second term.....33 - 28 = 5....so the common difference (d) = 5

an = a1 + (n - 1) * d
n = the term u want to find = 11
a1 = first term = 28
d = common difference = 5
now we sub
a11 = 28 + (11 - 1) * 5
a11 = 28 + 10 * 5
a11 = 28 + 50
a11 = 78

Can someone please help me real quick?
Dima020 [189]

Answer:

3.5p ≤ 40

Step-by-step explanation:

The inequality that best describes this problem is 3.5p ≤ 40;

Given parameters:

Total amount with me = $40

Cost per package of hot dog = $3.5

Unknown;

The inequality that represents the problem = ?

Solution:

p is the number of hotdogs that can be bought.

  So, total hotdog that can be bought if each hotdog cost $3.5 per box is;

                    p x 3.5

Now,

    this will equal the total amount at hand;

       p x 3.5 ≤ 40

         3.5p ≤ 40
