Given :

Some angles in degree.

To Find :

1) Complement of 75 degree

2) Complement of 40 degree

3) Complement of 71 degree

4) Complement of 101 degree

Solution :

We know, two angles are complement when their sum is 90 degree.

1) Complement of 75 degree is, 90 - 75 = 15 degree.

2) Complement of 40 degree is, 90 - 40 = 50 degree.

3) Complement of 71 degree is, 90 - 71 = 19 degree.

4) Complement of 101 degree is, 90 - ( -101 ) = 191 degree.

Hence, this is the required solution.

Given P(2,2) and Q(8,11) what are the coordinates of the point that divides PQ two-thirds of the way from P to Q.
maksim [4K]

Answer:

So, the coordinate of point A that divides the line segment PQ two-third of the way from P to Q is (6, 8).

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

                Coordinate of point P is (2, 2).

                Coordinate of point Q is (8, 11).

Now,

we have to find the coordinate of point that divides PQ two-thirds of the way from P to Q.

Let, A is the point that divides PQ two-thirds of the way from P to Q whose coordinate is ((x, y).

The coordinate of a point A, which divides the line segment PQ  two-thirds of the way from P to Q is,

x= \frac{m\times8+n\times2}{(m+n)}              [using section formula]

  = \frac{2\times8+1\times2}{(2+1)}

  =6

y= \frac{m\times11+n\times2}{(m+n)}             [using section formula]

  = \frac{2\times11+1\times2}{(2+1)}

   =8

So, the coordinate of point A that divides the line segment PQ two-third of the way from P to Q is (6, 8).

Y=x-2+3
I put x-2 because when graphing it's the opposite so it would technically be x+2
Then the +3 for the y chords which go up by 3 ! if this is wrong then try Y= (x-2)+3
