sergey [27]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

6x-3y+10=0 ⇒-3y=-6y-10 ⇒ y=-6x/-3 -10/-3⇒ y=2x+10/3

2x -y +9 =0 ⇒ -y=-2x-9 ⇒y=2x+9

State the number of possible real zeros and turning points of f(x) = x7 – 6x6 + 8x5. Then determine all of the real zeros by fac
Rudiy27

Answer:

steps below

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = x⁷ – 6x⁶ + 8x⁵

f'(x) = 7x⁶ - 36x⁵ + 40x⁴

      = x⁴ (7x² - 36x + 40) ... (1)

Critical point (x,y): x = 0 , x = (36 ± √(-36)²-4*7*40) / (2*7) = (18±2√11) / 7

x = 0   or   x = 3.5    or    x = 1.6

plug into (1): y = 0 , y = -394.3 , y = 10.1

extreme : maximum (1.6 , 10.1) minimum (3.5 , -394.3) ... turning points

x⁷ – 6x⁶ + 8x⁵ = x⁵ (x² - 6x + 8) = x⁵ (x-2) (x-4) =0

real zeros: x = 0, x=2, x=4

How would I solve this? Please help with Algebra 2.
natulia [17]
What it's asking is to put the equation in either f(x) or g(x).
so for
(a) you would replace all x in f(x) equation with g(x) equation.
f(x) = 3x - 2
f(g(x)) = 3(5x + 4) - 2
solve from there
(b) g(x) = 5x + 4
g(f(x)) = 5(3x - 2) + 4

What is the factor of q(x) ?
VMariaS [17]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

If (x + h) is a factor of f(x) then f(- h) = 0

Here q(- 1) = 0 , hence (x + 1) is a factor of q(x) → B

Explain if the combination of iron and copper sulfate is an example of a chemical reaction
zysi [14]

Answer:

Yes it is.

Step-by-step explanation:

When we mix Fe(iron) to CuSO⁴ (Copper sulphate), Iron removes copper from CuSO⁴ and makes FeSO⁴. This happens because iron is more reactive than copper. We cannot remove iron from this solution now until any stronger element is added.
