If you touch a hot stove, sensory receptors in your fingertip sense the dangerous heat and convert this stimulus into an electri
dolphi86 [110]

Answer:

If you touch a hot stove, sensory receptors in your fingertip sense the dangerous heat and convert this stimulus into an electrical signal. This signal leaves your fingertip via nerve cells called SENSORY NEURONS (AFFERENT NEURONS). These nerves are part of an anatomical division of the nervous system called the PERIPHERAL NERVOUS SYSTEM. The signal travels along these nerves, and then to the spinal cord and brain. These two structures make up an anatomical division called the CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM . Within this part of the nervous system, specialized nerves called INTERNEURONS integrate this information, formulate a response, and then communicate these instructions as nerve impulses to MOTOR NEURONS (EFFERENT NEURONS) . These neurons bring the message to the muscles in your arm to pull your hand away.

Explanation:

Receptor is the first component of the sensory pathway with the function to receive signal (it detects the change in environment, external or internal). Sensory neuron is responsible for the transport of signal from the receptor to the interneurons  which is then connected with the motor neuron.Motor neuron further sends the signal to the effector which produces the response (e.g. muscle contraction).

AURORKA [14]

According to the food and nutrition board (fnb) of the national academy of sciences, 45% to 65% of calories should come from carbohydrates.

The diet should contain all the necessary components of diet in proper amounts. The processes of human physiology require chemical energy which is supplied by proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, vitamins and minerals. The main source of calcium is found in the  dairy products. Carbohydrates can be found in a variety of foods such as grains, legumes, nuts, fruits, milk, vegetables,  yogurt, and seeds.

Adults should obtain 45% to 65% of the calorie requirement from carbohydrates, 20% to 35% from fats and 10 to 35% from the proteins. The acceptable range for children are similar to the adults except that infants and younger children need a little higher amount of fat  around 25 -40 %.
