Answer:

-4.75 degree celsius

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to find  the temperature at 11:00 am

Temperature at 6:00 am =-3.5 degree celsius

Temperature increased from 6:00 to 7:00 by = 2.5 degrees celsius

Temperature at 7:00=-3.5+2.5=-1. degree celsius

The temperature decreased from 7:00 to 8:00 by =-0.25 degree celsius

Temperature at 8:00=-1.-0.25=-1.25 degree celsius

Temperature dropped from 8:00 to 11:00 by =3.35 degree celsius

Hence we take -3.5 degree celsius

Then the temperature at 11:00 am =-1.25-3.5=-4.75 degrees celsius

CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASEEEE ITS GEOMETRY!!! THANK YOUUU
valentinak56 [21]

Answer:

CE= 32

QS= 14

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the C=R and the E=Q, and the RQ is 16, the CE is 2x that value. (Since the CDE is 2x bigger than RSQ)

You also want to flip the triangles until they are in the same positions as each other so you can analyze it easier

What is an equation of the line that passes through the points (0, -7) and (-8, 3)?
avanturin [10]

Answer <u>(assuming it can be in slope-intercept form)</u>:

y = -\frac{5}{4} x-7

Step-by-step explanation:

1) First, find the slope of the line by using the slope formula, m = \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}. Substitute the x and y values of the given points into the formula and solve:

m = \frac{(3)-(-7)}{(-8)-(0)}\\m = \frac{3+7}{-8-0} \\m = \frac{10}{-8} \\m = -\frac{5}{4}

So, the slope is -\frac{5}{4}.

2) Now, use the point-slope formula y-y_1 = m (x-x_1) to write the equation of the line in point-slope form. Substitute real values for the m, x_1, and y_1 in the formula.

Since m represents the slope, substitute -\frac{5}{4} in its place. Since x_1 and y_1 represent the x and y values of one point the line intersects, choose any one of the given points (either one is fine, it will equal the same thing at the end) and substitute its x and y values into the formula as well. (I chose (0, -7), as seen below.) Then, isolate y to put the equation in slope-intercept form and find the following answer:

y-(-7) = -\frac{5}{4} (x-(0))\\y + 7 = -\frac{5}{4} x\\y = -\frac{5}{4} x-7

Use the formula d = rt to find the distance, rate, or time
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

16. d = distance

     r = rate

     t = time.

We know that the rate = 4, and time = 11.

=> d = 4 * 11

=> d = 44

17. We know that distance = 36, and time = 4.

=> 36 * r* 4

=> 36 = 4r

=> 36/4 = 4r/4

=> r = 9
