She would be able to update her website 7 times in one month and stay within her monthly budget of $100.00.

You subtract $50.00 from the $100.00 each month which would leave you with $50.00.
Then you multiply 6.50 by 7 which gives you 45.5.
$50.00 + $45.50 = $95.5
There isn't enough money left to spend another $6.50 so the answer is 7.

the length of the rectangle is measured as 370mm correct to 2 significant figures.a) what is the upper bound for the length?the
ivanzaharov [21]

Answer:

a) 375

b) 7062.75 mm²

Step-by-step explanation:

b) We need to find the shortest possible width and length to get the smallest possible area.

To get the boundaries for 19.4, we go on to the next significant figure (the hundredths) and ± 5 of them.

The boundaries are, therefore: 19.35 - 19.45

As for the length, we can see they've added 5 units as the measurement is correct to 2 sig' figures, which is the tens.

And so, if we do as we did before, we go to the next sig' figure (the units) and ± 5 of them, we get the boundaries to be 365 - 375.

Now, we just multiply the lower bounds of the length and width to get the minimal/lower-bound area:

365 * 19.35 = 7062.75 mm²

A parallelogram has a length of 6 centimeters and a width of 4.5 centimeters. This parallelogram is dilated by a scale factor of
Arada [10]
Scale factor is given by:
(length of larger figure)/(length of smaller figure)=(width of larger figure)/(width of the smaller figure)=3.4
The length of the larger figure will be given by:
length=(scale factor)*(length of smaller figure)
=3.4*6=20.4 cm
width of the larger figure will be given by:
width=(scale factor)*(width of smaller figure)
=3.4*4.5
=15.3 cm
Therefore the dimension of the new parallelogram will be 20.4 cm by 15.3 cm
