Personification is when you make it seem like a nonliving object is a living thing. For example: The wind blew her breath on the field. The wind is seemed to be a person blowing on a field. A simile is when you compare two things, usually using the words LIKE or AS Quick like a fox. Plot is the storyline of a writing. Character is a person in the story, or what is used to describe the character.
