Throughout his narrative, "The Final Assault," Edmund Hillary states that he keeps checking the men's oxygen supplies.

I think the correct answer is the first one, "The men have enough oxygen in their bottles so they are able to complete their climb to the summit of Mt. Everest." It could be C.

Hillary and Tenzing were a little behind collecting partially used bottles of air left behind, so not the second. The last one is kind of petty, but there was some concern about this because only one group of climbers was allowed on the Everest per year, and the next years were already booked.

Answer: B. Studied

We're talking about event in the past (last night), so we use a past tense form of the verb "to study".

Dominik [7]

Answer:

Person versus nature

Explanation:

"A fierce rain had swollen the middle fork of the Kentucky river."

"The brown water overflowed its muddy banks."

And the epilogue - "Not even a flooded river could stand between Mary Breckinridge and the hospital her patients needed."

The text provides evidence of her going up against the forces of nature rather than the other options.

What is the meaning of the buffalo in without title
Karo-lina-s [1.5K]

Answer:

This is a metaphor that shows how the father struggles in life without his ancestral traditions, such as hunting. It's hard you know without the buffalo, the shaman, the arrow, but my father went out each day to hunt. as though he had them.
