Pretend you have met an alien and you need to teach the alien how to make a sandwich. Keeping in mind that the alien will do exactly as you instruct, write out the process of how to make a peanut butter and jelly (PB&J) sandwich. You start with the jars, bag of bread, and knife in front of both of you.

Take two pieces of bread out of the bag, open the pb jar, place some on the bread. Take the knife and spread it over the bread. Open the jar of jelly, place some on the other piece of bread, spread it out using the knife as well. Put both pieces of bread together facing the same way.
