The newly fertilized egg gains mass only after it is implanted in the uterus wall. Before the implantation, there is no gain in the mass of the fertilized egg. Moreover, the nourishment is not derived from the cell of the uterus. A newly fertilized egg is capable of surviving without the nourishment from mother as long as the nourishment is provided in vitro. Hence, the statements of Nina and Carole are not right.

Hence, the answer is 'the statement of Sarah is correct'.

Muscular system, gastrointestinal system and excretory system are required for the process.

<h3><u>Explanation:</u></h3>

Cheetos is a nutrient rich diet which is actually a snack. Its a hard food, so needs to be chewed which uses the muscular system for chewing. The muscles of jaw like masseter and temporalis are required.

Now as the Cheetos are crunched, they need to be digested into finer particles and finally into the absorbable particles. This uses the gastrointestinal system. The enzymes digest the food and the villi of small intestine helps in the absorption.

The absorbed food are metabolized in liver and some excretory products are produced. They are excreted using the excretory system.

Like organs in an organism, each organelle has a specific function in a cell. All of the organelles work together to carry out the functions of the cell as a whole, just as organs do to an organism. Each organelle contributes to the function of the cell as a whole, and they are essential for the cell's survival.

tino4ka555 [31]
Folding and faulting are diastrophic process that occurs when the pressure deep within the lithosphere cause the earth's surface to buckle, bend and split apart.

Folding is a product of the collision between two tectonic plates that causes the crust to rise up in folds during or after an earthquake.

Thus, the answer is C. It happens along tectonic plate boundaries.
