The constitution aided the articles of confederation become a tougher government. It aided solved the levy problem, not having a president, not being capable to decide struggles between the states and not feat the British to leave their land. The constitution provided the federalism or federal government the skill to levy the country. To wage for militaries and other stuff. The organization of the government got improved.

The constitution heavily helped checks and balances and separation of powers. In the Articles of Confederation, there was only one branch: the legislative, which was way too powerful and unorganized. It was only one house as well, and there was no executive or judicial branch. But it was fixed in the Constitution as an executive and judicial branch were made in addition to the legislative branch, which was also split up into two houses due to the Virginia and New Jersey Plans.

How do the events in Birmingham change how policies start to change from the federal<br> government?
Svetlanka [38]

Nonviolent protests were greeted by violent attacks using high-pressure fire hoses and police dogs throughout the next few months, resulting in some of the most famous and terrifying pictures of the Civil Rights Movement. President John F. Kennedy would later add, "The events in Birmingham... have intensified the appeals for equality to the point where no city, state, or legislative body can responsibly choose to ignore them." It is considered a turning point in the Civil Rights Movement and the "beginning of the end" of a centuries-long struggle for freedom.
