Apollo

Apollo is the god of the sun. The sun shines rays of light around the world. This quote is taken from the Iliad by Homer.

Chryses is a priest who serves the god Apollo, but he is not an actual god and can not dart rays around the world. Menelaus is the king of Sparta. His wife was taken from him to Troy thus starting the Trojan War. Juno is queen of the gods. She is wife and sister to Zeus. She is known to favor the Greeks in the Iliad.

The purpose of alliteration in this sentence is to make the 'slogan' stick in people's minds. This person is trying to make coin collecting sound like a fun activity that people will want to do, and using alliteration like this will have them easily remember the slogan long after they've read it.
