The model is called a double helix because two long strands twist around each other like a twisted ladder. The rails of the ladder are made of alternating sugar and phosphate molecules. The steps of the ladder are made of two bases joined together with either two or three weak hydrogen bonds.

DNA is basically a long polymer of nucleotides. It's backbone is made of sugars and phosphate groups joined by ester bonds. Attached to each sugar is one of four types of molecules called bases, or the rungs. The 4 bases for DNA are Adenine, Thymine, Guanine, & Cytosine. Adenine and Thymine is a base pair and form two H-bonds. Guanine and Cytosine is the other base pair, but forming three H-bonds. These H-bonds stabilize the two helices.

How does the movement of water in and out of a plant cell differ from movement in
aalyn [17]

Answer AND Explanation:

In both plants and animals, the movement of water requires an osmotic pressure and a concentration gradient. When animals take in water by osmosis, the swell and burst. this is called haemolysis. Unlike in plants, when the cells take in water, they become turgid. The animal cells lack cell wall and thus they burst since the cell membrane is not elastic.

Dvinal [7]
The appropriate response by the nurse is that it is best that the husband should be there for her wife as she is at the transition phase of the first stage as the wife needs the support and assistance that she could get, especially from her husband and that she may experience a lot of pain and that emotional support must be given by her husband to at least calm his wife.
