There are many different types of maps, and every different type of map is specialized to representing something specific, thus making it easier for the reader of the map to come to information.

Explanation:

There are numerous types of different maps. Each type of map has been created for a particular reason, or rather to represent only certain things. The reason as to why the maps have been specialized is so that the readers of the maps are able to come to  the information they are interested in or looking for.

Some types of maps are:

  • physical maps
  • topographic maps
  • hydrological maps
  • political maps
  • climate maps
  • biogeographic maps etc.

The physical maps are maps that specifically represent the physical features in the presented area. On them, we can find valleys, hills, plateaus, mountains, water bodies. The hydrological maps are maps that have their focus on the bodies of water, thus they represent bodies of water, lakes, oceans, rivers, swamps. The biogeographic maps are maps that focus on the areas in which particular animals or plants live, or communities of organisms.

zvonat [6]

Answer:

Baptist and Methodist.

Explanation:

The First Great Awakening was a period of spiritual renewal that occurred during the mid-18th century. This period also saw a great deviation from the Catholic belief system and the emergence of more Protestant sect religious churches such as the Baptist and the Methodists.

This spiritual revival and awakening began as a result of the oppressive nature of the Catholic Church of England. Which lifting mechanism is most likely responsible for the abundance of rain in the Amazon Rainforest?
valina [46]

Answer: Convective

Explanation:

Convective Lifting is arguably the most common form of lifting and involves the heating of the Earth's surface such that surface water gets evapotranspirated from the ground and plants.

As the clouds rise, they encounter cooler temperatures and thus cool down and condense into clouds. Higher temperatures mean higher convection.

The Amazon lies on the Equator which receives the most direct sunlight so the surface gets heated a lot. Water therefore collects faster and condenses more over the Amazon which leads to more precipitation over the Rainforest.
