After the battle of midway Japan's army was pretty much destroyed. This is when we see kamikaze pilots also.

I believe the answer is -1 2/3 because the number line goes backwards when it is negative numbers or, in your case, negative fractions.

Hawaii would still be under their kings/queens
Alaska would still be part of russia
China would pretty much never had any technological progress (they isolated themselves)
Japan would still be going around with pretty much katanas.
