Im not sure what the text is about but i can give you a vague reason from which you can take ideas from to add to your own report 

"Alegeria used the humor in this story effectively by breaking up any tension or tough situations the charaters might be in. This provides relief for not only the reader, but allows the writer to develop a more calming route to present the story"

Try using something like that to help you write the report! remember, just find evidence in the text and talk about it, make sure you quote where you got the evidence from!
