Answer:

Are small vessels within the tunica externa of large arteries and veins. (Ans E).

Explanation:

Vasa vasorum: It is defined as a complex system of small blood vessels that helps to provide the larger arteries and veins' walls. It is 3 different types in structure:

1) Internae: It is obtained from the artery lumen and later divide into the vessel wall.

2) Externae: It is obtained from the artery branches.

3) Vasorae: It is obtained within the artery vessel wall then leave into the lumen.

Vasa vasorum helps to provide nourishment which is necessary for growth and supply of blood for tunica media of large vessels and tunica adventitia.

When the diet contains an adequate amount of protein, what amino acid can be used by the body to synthesize niacin?
9966 [12]
Niacin is also known as Vitamin B3. It is needed by the body because it produces the coenzymes NAD and NADP which are responsible for the body's metabolic reactions. If you are deficient of niacin, the body can synthesize it using tryptophan. Food sources of tryptophan include eggs, liver, peanut butter and dairy products.

What happens to glucose produced by plants?
densk [106]

Answer:

Plants use cellular respiration to harvest the energy stored in the molecules

Explanation:

Plants, just like any other living organisms, need energy to power their cellular processes. Therefore plants also perform cellular respiration by burning energy molecules like glucose. The difference with plants, unlike animals, is that they make their own glucose from abiotic factors like sunlight and carbon dioxide.  They do this through the process of photosynthesis. Animals have to consume ready-made glucose that emanated (directly or indirectly)from plants.
