Select the correct text in the passage.
jeka57 [31]

Answer:

To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world.

Explanation:

Rhetoric, simply put, is an art of leading an argument; persuading someone to believe in your arguments.

Even Aristotle gave three basic rhetorical devices, one of which is logos.

Logos is an appeal to logic, or more elaborate, providing evidence and facts to convince someone.

"Declaration of Independence" is filled with examples for all three rhetorical devices. Considering logos, the best example of it, from this excrept would be stating all the injustice treatments and rights violated by King George, in order to justify the fight for independence.

Before stating them, he says he will prove this by stating facts. By emphasizing that these claims are facts he gives them weight and meaning.

I'd say that both are about nuisances. The Moth's Plea, by Elizabeth Jennings, is form the moth's perspective at being a pest, and it is given in a way so that you pity the moth. However, the poem Weasels by John Tripp gives the human's perspective on weasels, which are also pests. It gives every negative aspect about weasels so you come to despise them. In conclusion, the Moth's Plea is about pitying the pest, while Weasels is about shaming and hating on the pest.

Write a debate on patriotism enhances that growth of a nation
erma4kov [3.2K]

Answer:   I believe that patriotism enhances the growth of a nation by strengthening the pride of its inhabitants which will help to grow said nation economically and will help the nation's people grow closer. Here's how.

If people feel patriotism for their country then they will feel comfortable spending their money in said nation which will grow the amount of money spent which will gradually grow the economy. Then if the country's inhabitants feel a connection to one another despite distance then said country will be a more peaceful and possibly more loving place to live and/or work.
