If by the third party system you refer to the party system now in place in the United States of America, the Democratic Party would qualify as the 'liberal party' that intends to use the power and influence of the federal government to carry out its political agenda while the GOP or Republican Party would qualify as the 'conservative party' whose aim is to curtail 'big government' while also catering more to big businesses and generally conservative causes such as religion, gun rights etcetera.

Usually the third party in the USA,  either the Green Party or the Libertarian Party, would both qualify as 'liberal' parties compared to the GOP or Republican party

The feeling/sense of guilt in The God of Small Things?
neonofarm [45]
I love this book!
But I am not sure what you mean with your question (it's missing a verb).

But if you're looking for more information: The sense of guilt in this book is often created by other characters, when they're trying to come to terms with some tragedy (such as many characters being blamed for Sophie Mol's death). So in a way, guilt can function as an explanation. But also it's created by the social norms (as when Estha feels guilty because of the Orangedrink man).
