Answer:

In order to determine the function of an unknown gene knockout technique is used. PCR based deletion strategy is used for gene knockout in the case of yeast, which is unicellular species and eukaryotic. On the other hand, in the case of a mouse, which is multicellular and eukaryotic, for gene knock out homologous recombination technique is used.

The PCR based strategy is not appropriate for mice genes knockout, as mice are multicellular species and exhibit complex genome. While yeast constitutes some circular plasmids, known as 2 microns plasmids, which allows PCR based mutagenesis.

What is the biodiversity score of farmland (maize)?
Karolina [17]

Answer:

<h3><u>Required Answer</u><u>:</u><u>-</u></h3>

The intensification of agriculture has caused dramatic declines in farmland biodiversity (Carvalheiro et al., 2013; Senapathi et al., 2015). Since the 1990s, agricultural policies have been developed in Europe to mitigate this loss through agri-environmental schemes (AES). One AES is “sown wildflower strips”, the aim of which is to create new ecological infrastructures by sowing attractive wild flowers on arable land (a few % of the cultivated area). These ecological infrastructures fall within our definition of MIMS since they represent a massive introduction of managed species in the landscape.

N the real world, many factors determine the numbers of organisms in any one population. yet, a theoretical organism called supe
bonufazy [111]
Since this theoretical organism called a "superfly" does not die and has unlimited resources, the type of population growth for this particular species will be exponential. In plotting the graph of exponential growth, a J-shaped curve will be the result, starting from a steady logarithmic increase then eventually being vertical.
