Archaeologists did not find porcelain fragments in the West Point dig. They found beads and needles made from bones of elk, deer, beaver and other small mammals. Antlers from the elk and deer were used to make wedges and other tools.

What was Floridas role in the civil war
soldi70 [24.7K]

Answer: Florida's greatest contribution to the war, besides the 5,000 Floridian men who fought, was food supplies. Florida sent beef, pork, fish, and fruit to the Confederate troops. A vital part of the Confederate strategy was to keep Florida's inland roads and rivers protected so that the supplies could get safely northward.

How did italian city-states like venice and florence become major banking and trade centers?
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

B. Their location made them natural route for travel between Europe, Africa, and Asia.

It is NOT A.

the reason why is because of where the location of Venice and Florence is located near trade routes which makes it a very popular place to stop and trade.

Remember people are on the boats on a TRADE ROUTE and id they see people (or city's) they will most likely stop and TRADE with them.

Hope this helped :) <3
