Answer:

The word "envious" means full of envy.

Explanation:

A suffix is a letter or group of letters added to the end of a word to change it into a new word by altering its meaning. The suffix -ous forms adjectives that have the general sense of possessing a quality, of being full of such quality. For instance: joy - joyous.

The suffix -ous and its variant -ious have often been used to anglicize Latin adjectives that have terminations which cannot be adapted to English. For instance: contiguous; atrocious.

Based on that knowledge, the adjective "envious" means "full of envy", "jealous".

To kill a mockingbird
Alinara [238K]

Answer:

Francis is dominant and aggressive. He sees the world as a place where he can manipulate things when he wants. When he doesn't get what he wants, he gets angry that he can't have his way. Hedoesn't like being told no and on top of that, he doesn't know how to take no for an answer because he is spoiled.

Scout on the other hand sees the world as a big place and she isn't racist in fact, I feel that Aticuss protects her and it leads her to not be biased or predjudice. She sees no difference and isn't as educated about the world as Francis. She gets the opportunity to see the good side in people that no one else wanted to give them the chance to see.

Tems11 [23]

Answer:

When Maya Angelou says that words mean more than what is set down on paper, she means that there is always a meaning with greater intent.

Explanation:

When she says it takes the human voice to infuse them with deeper meaning she means how people sat things in a certain tone and it can mean more to us when said to us rather than us reading it.

I just made this up it probably won't help I've never heard thag quote before
