The slope is positive so it's a positive correlation.   It's a bit tough to distinguish between .30 and .70 correlation by eye.  If I had to choose, i'd go with .70; this looks like a pretty good correlation to me.

3u = 14 - 4u what number is the variable?
Harrizon [31]
What you want to do is isolate the variable. Take your equation 3u=14-4u and move the -4u over to the other side; making it look like this 7u=14. Then divide by 7 to isolate the u making u=2. Your answer is u=2.

An engineering school reports that 57% of its students were male (M), 33% of its students were between the ages of 18 and 20 (A)
aleksandrvk [35]

Answer: See explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

A table has been attached for further information.

The probability of a random student being male or between the ages of 18 and 20 will be:

= P(male)+P(18-20 age) - P(male and 18-20 age)

= 0.57 + 0.33 - 0.20

= 0.70

How many rectangles can you build with a prime number of square tiles?
zalisa [80]
You can only make one rectangle but that is assuming orientation does not matter and still counts as one. For example, a 3 by 1 and a 1 by 3 is the same rectangle but has different orientations so in essences there are two but really just one
