She has the power to break through mental shields (opposite of bella's power), and project her visions thoughts into others by making physical contact with them.

the Voltaire wants to kill her at first because they thought she was a child that had been turned into a vampire which are uncontrollable but really she was born half vampire, half human.

Read the excerpt below and answer the question.
netineya [11]

The basis for the imagery used in the underlined selections is: "the supernatural" (Option D) The textual evidence for this is found in the last line.

What is imagery?

Imagery is the intentional use of words to communicate to the reader an image that captures accurately the thought of the author.

In this excerpt, the author describes Lady Shalott in a form as though it was a ghost. We can infer this from the last line which indicates that she was dying or going to another place.

"They heard her singing her last song"

Name 3 of the many clever things montresor does to lure fourtunato into is trap
blagie [28]

One of the most clever things Montresor does in entrapping Fortunato is to make sure that his intended victim is not expected at home or anywhere else that night. Montresor twice pretends to believe that Fortunato has an engagement. First he says:

“As you are engaged, I am on my way to Luchesi. If any one has a critical turn it is he. He will tell me

A second clever thing Montresor does at the beginning of the tale is to repeat that he has "doubts" about the authenticity of the Amontillado.
