Photosynthesis is carried out "Plants but not animals ".

Explanation:

In case of plants, they use energy from sunlight and converts water and carbon dioxide into sugar called glucose. It takes place inside the leaf cells i.e chloroplast. Plants have the ability to absorb the light energy.

But in case of animals and human beings, chloroplast are absent and they cannot absorb the sunlight to prepare there own food. Animals and humans depend on plants and animals for their food. Certain exceptions are seen recently in aphid, they use carotenoid pigments to use sun energy and make ATP.

Plants, but not animals

Plants must create their own food (glucose) through a process called photosynthesis. To be able to preform this, the cell must have chloroplasts which take in sunlight. Due to plants not having chloroplasts they are unable to carry out photosynthesis

Hope this helps :-)

The butterfly effect!

The butterfly effect is a popular phenomenon that has remained out of the scope for science. The very definition of the butterfly effect seems to be debatable. Tiny changes in the initial condition of a large non-linear system like the functioning of the brain or the ecosystem can cause huge changes in the system itself. Example, the flapping of the wings of the butterfly can cause tornado in some other place. Given the extremely high complexity of the problem, the study of the dynamics of such a change to happen has remained out of the scope of science.
