What was the significance of the Boston Tea Party? answer in (5-7) sentences.
lutik1710 [3]

The Boston Tea Party symbolized the frustration of the colonists towards Britain. This act of dumping tea into the harbor showed that the colonists disapproved of the high taxes being placed on them by the British. By doing this, the message was sent. This act ultimately helped provoke the Revolutionary War. King George was angry at this act and stationed more soldiers and guards in Boston and the surrounding areas. This further escalated the conflict. All of this together helped fuel the revolution.
