Answer:

  (x +5)^2 = -2

Step-by-step explanation:

We can subtract the constant to get ...

  x^2 +10x = -27

Then add the square of half the x-coefficient:

  x^2 +10x +5^2 = -27 +5^2

  (x +5)^2 = -2 . . . . . . write as a square

The answer for PA is 60/13. This is found by
The area of the rectangle is 60, therefore, the big triangle areas are 30 each. We know that the hypotenuse is 13, so therefore, we get
1/2(13*PA) = 30. This then simplifies to
13 * PA = 60, which then turns into
PA = 60/13.

Hope this helps and have a nice day:)

I need help on this question, someone please help!!
Tju [1.3M]

Answer:

y=−x−1/3x−8

Step-by-step explanation:

y=8x−1/3x+1

To find the inverse function, swap x and y, and solve the resulting equation for x.

If the initial function is not one-to-one, then there will be more than one inverse.

So, swap the variables: y=8x−1/3x+1 becomes x=8y−1/3y+1.

Now, solve the equation x=8y−1/3y+1 for y.

y=−x−1/3x−8

Sorry I was in a rush and couldn't do the fractions as formulae. Hope it helped anyways.

Please help with this question. I am desperate! I don't understand!
nlexa [21]
It only has symmetry about the axis, that means that if i were to draw a line down the middle, the triangle looks the same on both sides. If it were split in half horizontally, it would not be symmetrical.
