62 centimeters.

Solution:
From given perimeter = 2(5x-2) + 2(3x+1)
Perimeter is the same as adding all the sides of the polygon. In this case, adding all sides of rectangle in terms of length.
Therefore;
2(5 × 4 - 2) + 2(3 × 4 + 1)
2(20 - 2) + 2(12 + 1)
2(18) + 2(13)
36 + 26
=62
Therefore, 62 centimeters would be the answer.
