270/360 = 0.75 = 3/4 of a complete revolution


45 minutes = 3/4 of an hour

 so it is doing 1/4 of a revolution every 1/4 hour

 so it would take 1 hour to do a complete revolution

The answer is one hour. 360-270=90 90 is a fourth of 360. 45 minutes is 3/4 of an hour so yeah
