2500=2304[1+(x/100)]²

Mathematics

This problem is difficult to explain, but I will try my best.
First, divide both sides by 2304 to isolate the squared part (1+(x/100))^2

This gets you 196=(1+(x/100))^2
Then, you square root both sides. Luckily, 16 is the square root of 196, which makes it a lot easier.
16=1+(x/100)
Subtract both sides by 1 and multiply both sides by 100.
15=x/100
x=1500                                          Hope this helps.

Given: circle k(O), m LM = 164°, m WK = 68°, m∠MLK = 65°. Find: m∠LMW
Musya8 [376]

Answer:

The measure of angle LMW is m\angle LMW=67\°

Step-by-step explanation:

see the attached figure to better understand the problem

step 1

Find the measure of arc MW

we know that

The inscribed angle measures half that of the arc comprising

so

m\angle MLK=\frac{1}{2}[arc\ MW+arc\ WK]

substitute the given values

65\°=\frac{1}{2}[arc\ MW+68\°]

130\°=[arc\ MW+68\°]

arc\ MW=130\°-68\°=62\°

step 2

Find the measure of arc LK

we know that

arc\ LM+arc\ MW+arc\ WK+arc\ LK=360\° -----> by complete circle

substitute the given values

164\°+62\°+68\°+arc\ LK=360\°

294\°+arc\ LK=360\°

arc\ LK=360\°-294\°=66\°

step 3

Find the measure of angle LMW

we know that

The inscribed angle measures half that of the arc comprising

so

m\angle LMW=\frac{1}{2}[arc\ LK+arc\ WK]

substitute the given values

m\angle LMW=\frac{1}{2}[66\°+68\°]=67\°

PLEASE HELP WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST
vichka [17]

Answer:

equation 1: 60*<em>(x-3.5)</em>=22.5*<em>x</em>     to solve for x

equation 2: <em>x</em>+<em>(x-3.5)</em>    to solve for hours

[answer at the bottom if you need it]

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's think about it in terms of x.

Suppose <em>x </em>hrs is the time it takes to get BACK. So the time to get there is <em>(x-3.5)</em> hrs.

60mph can be written as 60mi/hr. 22.5mph can be written as 22.5mi/hr.

You know that the distance there and back should be the same because Dan is going to the lake and back. To find distance of each trip, you have to multiply speed and time.

Distance TO: 60mi/hr * <em>(x-3.5)</em>hr

Distance BACK: 22.5mi/hr * <em>x</em> hr

The hr units cancel out to leave mi (miles, unit for distance)

Since the distance there and back are the same, you can set the distances equal to each other and solve for x.

60*<em>(x-3.5)</em>=22.5*<em>x</em>

That's not it though. Solving for x only gives you what x is, which is the time it takes to get back. The total time that the trip takes is<em> </em><em>x</em>+<em>(x-3.5)</em>, which is the time it takes to get there and come back from the lake.

Answer:

x= 5.6

x+(x-3.5) = 5.6+(5.6-3.5) = 5.6+2.1 =<em> </em><em><u>7.7 hours total</u></em>

<em><u></u></em>

<em><u></u></em>

Hope this was helpful!
