Answer:

In the early 1850s the French diplomat and engineer Ferdinand de Lesseps (1805–1894) revived earlier French plans to build a canal through the Isthmus of Suez. He saw the immense benefits such a canal would bring, reducing by 3000 miles the distance by sea between Bombay and London, and he was instrumental in its successful completion. These letters, published in this English translation in 1876, show how De Lesseps persuaded the Viceroy of Egypt to allow construction, and how he overcame opposition from Britain and Turkey. Letters to the Viceroy, Emperor Napoleon III, Members of Parliament, diplomats, and politicians throughout Europe, together with more personal letters to his wife, all illustrate his resolute determination to see his project succeed. This is an invaluable source, not only on the canal, but also on the politics of the major powers and European attitudes towards the Middle East and its people.

Prove that density of an ideal gas is proportional to pressure dont spam give right derivation
Montano1993 [528]

The density of an ideal gas is proportional to its pressure through ideal gas equation in the mentioned below steps.

Explanation:

For an ideal gas, we know that  pV=nRT

where p= pressure of the gas

V-volume of the gas

n- no of moles of the gas in consideration

R= Gas constant

T= temperature of the gas

Thus

pressure (p)= nRT/V  -- equation 1

we know that no of moles of any gas= mass of the gas(m)/ Molar mass of the gas (M)

Putting the value of n in the equation 1

p= mRT/MV   -- equation 2

We know that density (ρ)= mass/volume

equation 2 can be re-arranged as

p=RT.m/V.M

Substituing, m/v in equation 2 by density (ρ)

p=ρRT/M   --equation 3

Equation 3 can be re-written as

ρ=pM/RT

where

ρ= density of the gas concerned

p=pressure of the gas

M=molar mass of the gas

R= Gas constant

T= Temperature of the gas concerned

Hence in the final equation density of the gas is directly proportional to the pressure

Consider social, political, and economic equality. In what ways did Radical Reconstruction address and secure these forms of equ
katrin [286]

The Reconstruction tried to generate opportunities to end the segregation between white Americans and African Americans in the Southern States by giving them job opportunities and voting rights so they could be elected into important political roles.

During the Reconstruction African Americans were able to enjoy family bonds and tried to make a way for former slaves buying land to cultivate.

The problem was that the way Reconstruction was imposed created a brutal reaction in southern whites, that believed that they were stripped of their liberty, because of that many became committed to keeping blacks in a subservient position. With the election of President Johnson Reconstruction changed and the land was returned to white landowners which avoided land redistribution in the South.

The sharecropping system was a way of maintaining those ex-slaves and African Americans dependent on the landowners, it limited economic development and ensured that the South remained an agricultural location.

As we can see, the Reconstruction fell short of accomplishing its objectives because at the end it caused resentment in the Southern states, which backfired in the Black Codes and the creation of a series of white supremacy groups.
