Answer:

The Intolerable Acts were punitive laws passed by the British Parliament in 1774 after the Boston Tea Party. The laws were meant to punish the Massachusetts colonists for their defiance in the Tea Party protest in reaction to changes in taxation by the British Government.

exis [7]

Answer:

The renewal of an advisory contract under different terms than the preceding contract requires that a revised brochure must be given to the customer at, prior to, contract renewal .

Explanation:

First, we need to define a term called ADV part 2A: Form ADV is a form used by investment advisers to register with the Securities commission and Exchange Commission (SEC) and state securities authorities.

There is no requirement to file an ADV Part 2A with a balance sheet promptly unless the adviser for the first time will accept $1,200 or more of prepaid fees, 6 months or more in advance of services rendered.

The "2-Day Free Look" at the "Brochure" is only required under NASAA rules for customers that are signing an advisory contract with that adviser for the first time - so it only applies to State-registered advisers, not to Federal Covered Advisers.

What are the political consequences of geographic sorting?
Pachacha [2.7K]

This geographic polarization makes the population politically speaking to be very divided because these points of geographical difference are very significant for determining political polarization.

Classical Political Geography has as its precursor the German geographer Friedrich Ratzel, who laid the scientific and systematizing bases for this science with the publication, in 1897, of the work Political Geography. For Ratzel, the strength of the State was closely linked to space - in its shape, extent, relief, climate and availability of natural resources -, to its position - social relations established between the State and its circulating environment at the national and international level - and, finally, to the sense (or spirit) of the people, which represented the strength of that determined people in relation to another. These ideas, understood in a simplistic and distorted way, would be known as  "geographic determinism". (Geographical determinism, however, occurs when natural elements are given the sole role in defining the constitutive aspects of societies.)

Stock Market Crash of 1929
Workers flood the streets in a panic following the Black Tuesday stock market crash on Wall Street, New York City, 1929
Hulton Archive/Archive Photos/Getty Images
Remembered today as "Black Tuesday," the stock market crash of October 29, 1929, was neither the sole cause of the Great Depression nor the first crash that month. The market, which had reached record highs that very summer, had begun to decline in September.

On Thursday, October 24, the market plunged at the opening bell, causing a panic. Though investors managed to halt the slide, just five days later on "Black Tuesday" the market crashed, losing 12 percent of its value and wiping out $14 billion of investments. Two months later, stockholders had lost more than $40 billion dollars. Even though the stock market regained some of its losses by the end of 1930, the economy was devastated. America truly entered what is called the Great Depression.
