Answer:

FERPA, PPRA, and Subpart D of the federal regulations

Explanation:

All of these serve as additional protection for research subjects in the following ways:

- PPRA

This will protect the research subjects from revealing information that is very personal in nature without the consent of the subjects (such as religion, sexual orientation, etc)

- FERPA,

This will Prevent the researchers from revealing the information given by the research subjects to the public . (the control regarding the information disclosure will be given completely to the subjects)

- Subpart D

This will force the researchers to be accountable toward the subjects During and after the research. To ensure that there is no negative circumstances happening to the subjects during the process.

In addition to the general provisions of the Common Rule (the federal regulations for protecting research subjects), FERPA, PPRA, and Subpart D of the federal regulations become govern research’s regulations in the public schools. Those three options are included.

EXPLANATION:

Some regulations apply to research in public schools. The regulations include FERPA, PPRA, and Subpart D of the federal regulations. To know more about these three regulations, here is the further explanation of it:

• FERPA

FERPA stands for “The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. This term is also referred to as the Buckley Amendment. This governs research’s regulation gives students’ parents specific and certain rights over the children’s educational records. This regulation allows parents to have access to their children’s content of the educational record.

• PPRA

PPRA stands for “The Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment”. This regulation was amended by the “No Child Left Behind Act” in 2001. PPRA is designed to provide parents control over the content of analyses, surveys, evaluations of minor students, and instructional materials. PPRA applies two levels of control which are based upon how the research is funded.

• Subpart D of the federal regulations

Subpart D of the federal regulations is about “Additional Protections for Children Involved as Subjects in Research”. It is applicable when certain federal agencies which have adopted the Common Rule haven’t adopted the other subpart to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (NHS).

For example, the Department of Education (ED) has applied subpart D, while the National Science Foundation (NSF) hasn’t. So, when research is funded by the ED, the provisions apply. Yet, when research is funded by the NSF, the provisions of the subpart don’t apply. On the other hand, institutions may choose to adopt Subpart D to all of their researches, no matter the source of the funding.

According to the classical conditioning approach, in the above sighted case, the waitress is an example of a conditioned stimulus.

Explanation:

  • Classical conditioning is a learning procedure through which a biologically potent stimulus, together with a neutral stimulus, where the neutral stimulus ignites a response.
  • The response that occurs here is the same as the response that occurs in the case of stimulation by the potent stimulant. Thereby, the nurse is an alternative stimulus here.
  • For instance, in the above example, if you see the food only, then, an individual shall start salivation, but since the waiter is associated with food in your mind, then when you see her, you shall be salivating, if you have appetite.

11. What was the job of the first Congress?
irinina [24]
The 1st United States Congress, comprising the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives, met from March 4, 1789, to March 4, 1791, during the first two years of George Washington's presidency, first at Federal Hall in New York City and later at Congress Hall in Philadelphia. With the initial meeting of the First Congress, the United States federal government officially began operations under the new (and current) frame of government established by the 1787 Constitution. The apportionment of seats in the House of Representatives was based on the provisions of Article I, Section 2, Clause 3 of the Constitution. Both chambers had a Pro-Administration majority. Twelve articles of amendment to the Constitution were passed by this Congress and sent to the states for ratification; the ten ratified as additions to the Constitution on December 15, 1791, are collectively known as the Bill of Rights, with an additional amendment ratified more than two centuries later to become the Twenty-seventh Amendment to the United States Constitution. Hope this helped!
