I live close to the Everglades! It’s a national park where lots of exotic animals live. It’s 1.5 million acres of tropical wetland. In the 1800s they were gonna drain it but the idea went away. 50% of the original wetlands have been turned into farmland and urban areas

Answer:

A; wetlands on the southern tip of florida

Explanation:

Everglades National Park is a 1.5-million-acre wetlands preserve on the southern tip of the U.S. state of Florida. Often compared to a grassy, slow-moving river, the Everglades is made up of coastal mangroves, sawgrass marshes and pine flatwoods that are home to hundreds of animal species. Among the Everglades' abundant wildlife are the endangered leatherback turtle, Florida panther and West Indian manatee.

An unconformity between two sedimentary layers is classified as a disconformity.
Karolina [17]

True

Explanation:

An unconformity between two parallel layers of sedimentary rocks is classified as a disconformity.

A disconformity is a type of unconformity.

An unconformity is a significant break in the stratigraphic record of a formation. There are different types of unconformity;

  • A disconformity is an unconformity between parallel layers of sedimentary rocks.
  • A non-conformity is an unconformity between two different rock types.
  • A para-conformity is an unconformity between two parallels layers marked by differences in fossil age.
  • An angular unconformity is an unconformity between two layers that are at an angle to one another.

The main cause of unconformity is usually non-deposition and erosion.
