leonid [27]

The correct answer is the following.

Dear President Truman,

Let me introduce myself. I am Tony Drou, member of the Young Men Peace Association (YMPA). The YMPA is a nation-wide association that has 800,000 students affiliated that look for peace and respect for human rights.

The reason I am writing this letter is that as a member of that association I consider it is my obligation as a U.S. citizen to share you this. Although it’s very painful to see people die, all kinds of tyranny and repression must end. And if dropping the bomb is the only way to end this terrible war and start a period of peace and stability in the world, Mr. President you did make the right decision.

Nobody likes more blood from innocent people. So if this kind of actions are deemed necessary to put an end to the hostilities, so be it. People demand peace and the opportunity to build a better world.

Thank you for your attention, Mr. President.

Regards,

Tony

Roman Christianity's organization was based on bishops' and archbishops' control of territorial units called diocese. The word diocese comes from a Greek word which means 'administration'. In the Middle Ages, some bishops even held political power aside from their religious power. A diocese is further divided into parishes which fall under the management of priests.

Alexus [3.1K]

In a small group, there can be various of need within community, like water availability, infrastructure, transportation, shelters for those who don't have home, health service, sanitation.

Needs can be described as the space between what is and what should be. An individual, a group, or a whole community may experience a need. It might be as tangible as the requirement for food and water or as abstract as greater community harmony.

sanitation is biggest need in community. It does not need any kind of organization work we can work in our level as well like first give local sanitation plans and strategies more support. Second, perform additional work on faecal sludge monitoring and management. Third, inform communities of the advantages of making sanitation investments.

Why was the 18th amendment repealed by the 21st amendment?
anastassius [24]

Answer:

The correct answer is: "It was unpopular with a majority of Americans and also difficult to enforce".

The 18th amendment to the US Constitution was issued in 1917 and declared a nationwide prohibition of intoxicating liquors, which banned both the production and sale of alcoholic beverages. Subsequently the Volstead Act was issued too, for the enforcement of this 18th amendment.

Although there was a decrease in alcohol consumption the enforcement of these regulations was extremely complicated, criminal organizations arose and started to sell alcohol in the black markets. Moreover, the public opinion started to reject the Prohibition in the 1920s decade. In 1932 President Franklin D. Roosevelt claimed for its derogation and in 1933 the 21st amendment to the US Contitution was passed to repeal the previous 18th amendment. It is the only time in the US history that one amendment is only issued to overrule a previous one.
